Mission Statement

To work for the advancement of education and the improvement of educational opportunities for all.

To strengthen the teaching profession and to secure and maintain appropriate and just salaries and general working conditions that are basic to the dignity of the teaching profession.

To speak as the single voice of our members before the Board of Education, Administration, legal authorities, and residents of the community.

To promote the aims, interests and professional needs of the members of the Association.

To support our State and National parent unions in their efforts to improve the professional, economic and personal lives of our members and their families, strengthen the institutions in which they work, and further the cause of social justice through the trade union movement.
